Bush Camp & Bush Camp Rates:

Jakkals Asem Bush Camp is rented out exclusively to one group/family at a time and can accommodate up to 16x guests in the rooms and permanent tents. If required, an additional 4x guests can be accommodated in two additional canvas tents with stretchers in.

 

Bush Camp Weekend Rates (Excludes long weekends & peak season):
  • R450 per person per weekend.
  • R300 per child 12 and under per weekend. Child under 2 free (own cot/bed).
  • Minimum charge of R3000 per weekend for the Bush Camp.
  • No single night bookings over weekends.
Bush Camp Midweek (Excludes long weekends & peak season):
  • R190 per person per night.
  • R140 per child 12 and under per night.
  • Child under 2 free (own cot/bed).
  • Minimum charge of R1000 per night for the Bush Camp.
  • Minimum 2x night booking.

 

Bush Camp long weekends and peak season:
  • R290 per person per night.
  • R190 per child 12 and under per night.
  • Child under 2 free (own cot/bed).
  • Minimum charge of R2000 per night for the Bush Camp.
  • Minimum 3x night booking.

Camping & Camping Rates:

Jakkals Asem has 3x unfenced, non-electrified camping stands in the bush with sufficient shade provided under indigenous trees.
Hot water ablutions are provided via a donkey, we provide wood for the donkey and light it daily.

 

Camping Rates:
  • R300 per stand per night (2 guests). Additional adult R50pn, additional child R25pn.
Camping Weekend Special:
  • R500 per stand for the weekend (2 guests). Additional adult R100 per weekend, additional child R50 per weekend. Special excludes long weekends and public holidays.

 

Camping T&C’s:
  1. Maximum of 1x camping trailer or caravan per stand.
  2. Maximum of 6x people per stand.
  3. Additional camping trailer or caravan on a stand @R200pn only if all stands are occupied.
  4. Electricity can be provided at Duiker stand at an additional charge of R50pn.
  5. Child rates applicable for children 12 years old and under. Babies under 2 years old free.

Groups:

Jakkals Asem is the perfect venue for Scout, Voortrekker, Church or Youth camps. There is ample accommodation for children and Adult leaders in the Bush Camp and campsites.
The farm has a range of bushveld and open grassland areas, perfect for practicing outdoor & survival skills.
Special packages can be arranged for groups wishing to make use of the camping and Bush Camp simultaneously.
